Rolland W. Mills, 87, of Moose Lake, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Augustana Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake. He was born February 13, 1927 in Grantsburg, WI to Richard "Dick" and Evelyn (LaMason) Mills. Rolland was a veteran of The United States Navy, serving during WWII. He was united in marriage to MaryAnn Heinen on April 23, 1949 in Northome. Rolland was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Moose Lake. Rolland enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and loved farming and the outdoors.

Rolland is preceded in death by his wife, MaryAnn; his parents; brothers, Archie and Arnie Mills; sisters, Jen Wheelock, Ruth Crowe and Delores Heinen.

Rolland is survived by daughters, Deb Tait and Jill (Jim) Piette; sons, Mark (Bev) Mills, Paul Mills and Jon (LuAnn) Mills; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Clysta McNew; special friend, Joyce; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 23, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Catholic Church, Moose Lake. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Moose Lake.
