Rose Mary Gulso, age 82, of Moose Lake, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, in Moose Lake. She was born on September 2, 1943, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Alfred and Ida (Sivigny) Licht.

Rose grew up in New Brighton, Minnesota. After completing school, she married Gary White, and together they had two children, Curtis and David White. She later married Wayne Gulso Sr., and together they raised two additional children, Wayne Jr. and Christine, while living in Champlin, Minnesota, eventually settling in Rutledge  and later Sturgeon Lake Minnesota. Rose later moved north and spent the remainder of her life in Moose Lake.

Rose was known for her artistic nature and enjoyed drawing and crossword puzzles. She spent much of her time pursuing various hobbies, looking for agates and was well known for her crocheting skills. Her greatest love, however, was her animals—most especially her beloved dog, Blossom. One of Rose's most memorable qualities was her generosity; she opened her home to nearly everyone and was always known as a wonderful host who prepared the best meals.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Gulso Sr., and her sister, Dee Dardine.

She is survived by her children, Curtis and David White; Wayne Gulso Jr. of Moose Lake; and Christine (Terry) Kneisel of Finlayson; her sister, Dar Werronen; many nephews; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. memorial service on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Hamlin Hansen Kosloski Funeral Home, 609 Folz Boulevard, Moose Lake, Minnesota.
