Russell William Bogenholm, 88, of Moose Lake, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at his home. He was born April 5, 1925 in Moose Lake to Walter and Lillian (Anderson) Bogenholm. Russell was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in both WWII and the Korean Conflict. Russell was united in marriage to Deloris Wilkinson on August 31, 1946 in Duluth.
Russell enjoyed hunting, restoring cars, playing cards and golf (he shot a hole in one in 1997). Russell recommitted his life to Christ in 2010. He was a man who never complained and never had a negative word to say about anyone. He will be dearly missed.

Russell is preceded in death by his wife, Delores; his parents; 2 daughters, Priscilla and Patricia; 1 brother, Robert; 1 sister, Betty Olsen.

Russell is survived by 5 children, Richard (Colleen) Bogenholm of Nashville, TN, Steve (Leah) Bogenholm of Stockton, CA, Scott (Elaine) Bogenholm of Barnum, Jeff (Sherry) Bogenholm of White Bear Lake and Amy (Scott) Nash of Centerville; 15 grandchildren, Christine, Ryan, Sara, Jenny, Jessi, Andy, Shane, Josiah, Ben, Adam, Chris, Dan, Bethany, Alexa and Taylor; 18 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Jerry Bogenholm; 1 sister, Dorothy Wahlstrom; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 11, from 1 PM until the 2 PM service in Evangelical Covenant Church, Moose Lake. Interment will be in Blomskog Cemetery, Windemere Township.
