Sharon Marie Olson, resident of Willow River, MN died unexpectedly at the young age of 68 on Sunday, September 29 ^th , 2019 in Essentia – St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth. She was born in St. Paul, MN to Louie and Martha (Wojtysiak) Zuk on November 30 ^th , 1950.

Sharon was raised in Moose Lake, MN, graduating from Moose Lake High School in 1969. She then attended cosmetology school in Duluth, graduating and then moved to Ironwood, MI. While in Michigan, she raised two children, Jody and Darryel, and worked for a couple of different salons. Sharon moved back to Minnesota during the summer of 1999, shortly before marrying Dan Olson. The two became married on July 10 ^th , 1999 at their home west of Willow River. She worked for 50 years as a cosmetologist for numerous salons, most recently for Roffler's in Moose Lake, retiring in December of 2017. Over the years, Sharon enjoyed reading, gardening her flower beds, cooking and baking, and spending time with her family and visiting with her salon clients. She had the gift of always seeing the good in everybody, and will be remembered for her kindness and being sweet.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Martha; brother, David Zuk; and sister-in-law, Linda Zuk.

Sharon will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 20 years, Dan; children, Jody (Alan) Kovales and Darryel (Sherri) Tirpe; step-children, Carrie (Jeff) Conner and Nichole Olson; grandchildren, Colton, Kaitlyn, Brandon, Ray, Joey, Michael, and Waylon; siblings, Jeanette Sandstrom, Tom (Kim) Zuk, Barb (Reggie) Anderson, and Paul (June) Zuk; sister-in-law, Nancy Zuk; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation to remember Sharon's life will be held on Wednesday, October 2 ^nd , 2019 from 5-7pm at Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home in Moose Lake, MN. Visitation will continue on Thursday, October 3 ^rd , 2019 from 10am until the 11am Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Moose Lake. Father Stephen Solors will celebrate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Moose Lake.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sharon's Family.
