Shirley Marie Decker, 84, of Mahtowa, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, December 8, 2014 at her home.
She was born June 13, 1930 in Mankato to Clement and Ida (Miller) Rauchman. Shirley was united in marriage to Harlan John Decker on July 10, 1948 in Mankato. Shirley worked at Johnson Reels in Mankato and both Diamond Match and Weyerhaeuser of Cloquet. Shirley enjoyed baking, gardening, feeding the wild animals and a Sunday afternoon beer. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Harley; her parents; grandson, Matthew Johnson; 2 brothers; 4 sisters.
Shirley is survived by 3 daughters, Susan (Bruce) Johnson of Mahtowa, Linda (Joe) Streett of North Mankato and Katherine (Ron) Reed of Mankato; grandchildren, Lucas Johnson, Anna (Dennis) Ramsden, Jamie Streett, Troy Streett, Eric Streett and Chad (Lindsay) Reed; great grandchildren, Faith Johnson, Hailey, Emma and Ayden Streett, Rilynn and Bradey Reed; 3 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, December 12, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Memorial Service in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
