Susan Linda (Ledingham) Kinney, 64, Kerrick, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in Augustana Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake. She was born on February 26, 1950 in Duluth to Robert and Kathaleen Ledingham. The family lived in Duluth. Susan attended East High School. On May 14, 1987, Susan married Duane (Jim) Kinney in Duluth. Susan worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant at several jobs through the years including: Park Point Manor, Surf and Sand Nursing Home, and St. Luke's Hospital. She was a second mother to her nieces and nephew, devoting much of her life to their care. Children, pets and plants all flourished in her loving care.

She was preceded in death by her husband, (Jim) Duane Kinney.

Susan will be lovingly remembered by her siblings: John (Gracie) Ledingham of La Jolla, CA; James Ledingham of Cottage Grove, OR; Roberta Ledingham of Minneapolis; MN; Mary Lou (Ledingham) Workman of Kerrick, MN. 4 nieces: Amber Skorich; Angie (Geoffrey) Korol; April (Adam) Miller; Jennifer Davies; 1 nephew: Joseph Workman. 1 grandniece: Io; 2 grand nephews: Logan and William.

A Private Family Gathering will be held as a memorial on the shores of Park Point/Lake Superior as per her final request.
