Thomas James Kreul, 77, resident of Moose Lake, passed away in his home on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 surrounded by his beloved daughters as well as other family members and friends during his last hours. Tom was born on June 17, 1943 in Racine, WI to Alvin and Lilly (Nielsen) Kreul.

He was a man of many interests: photography, model airplanes, tropical fish, biking, and philosophy. Tom had an eclectic taste in music. He enjoyed watching birds and marveled in their beauty. For years, Tom had a pet bird whom had the unique name of "Bird". He loved being in the presence of people and was more loved than he ever knew. Tom was always asking questions, thinking deeply, and digging beneath the surface. He truly enjoyed small game hunting in earlier years, walks in the woods, hiking in Jay Cooke and Lester River areas, and just being close with nature. He will be missed deeply by his family and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Natalie Halverson; parents; and siblings: James Kreul and Ellen Kreul.

He will be forever remembered by his daughters: Emily (Todd) Danelski and Theresa (Cole) Lekander; and their mother, Bette Kreul and her friend, Mike Funk; grandchildren: Carl Halverson, Cora Lekander, Christa Danelski, Jacob Danelski, and Johnathan Danelski; and siblings: Robert Kreul, Ed Kreul, and Mary Kreul-Star; and good friend, Mark Johnson.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 4 pm until the 6 pm Memorial Service at Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
