Tracey Lynn (Peterson) Bordine
Tracey L. (Peterson) Bordine was born June 20, 1954 in Orlando, FL. and died September 15, 2015, in Vancouver, WA, at the age 61. She was surrounded at death by friends and family from Minnesota and Iowa as well as from the Pacific Northwest.
After graduating from Moose Lake High School, she worked in the family business of Peterson Drug Store. She attended Mankato State University. She married Norman Bordine in 1975 in Moose Lake. The family moved to Alaska where their two youngest children were born.
Tracey was known to be a very caring and loving person and was a pseudo mother to many young members of her family as well as others who came in contact with her as friends of her own kids. As a very nurturing person, she worked at Hough Elementary School, Vancouver, as a Therapeutic Assistant.
When making Vancouver their home, they enjoyed many outings to the family cabin on the homestead of Norman's relatives at Willard, WA.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years Norman Bordine, Vancouver, WA; children Jason Bordine, Vancouver, WA, Alicia (Bordine) Huffaker (Scott), Boise, ID, and Ethan Bordine, Washugal, WA; grandchildren Scotlyn and Livia Huffaker; father Ronald Peterson (Betty), Carlton, MN; sisters Rhonda Skelton (Doug), Moose Lake, MN, and Lisa Snodgrass (Ben), Woodland, WA. nieces, Emma and Laura Skelton and Aaliyah Snodgrass.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Hope Lutheran Church of Moose Lake. Inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Moose Lake.
