Obituary

Vivian Ann Abrahamson Radzak, 82, Moose Lake, died peacefully on Friday, February 16, 2024, at home.

Vivian was born on August 11, 1941, in Willow River to Arthur and Eva Abrahamson.  She graduated from Willow River High School in 1958.  Vivian married Ronald Radzak on July 22, 1959, in Willow River.  They had three children and lived in Mounds View until 1974 when they moved back to Denham.  She was a homemaker through the years and was an Avon Lady.  Later, Vivian worked as a restaurant and catering manager for the Wyndtree Restaurants in Moose Lake and Barnum.  Her mentoring to many of her coworkers kept them close and in contact up to her last days.  She loved music, playing the trumpet, singing and participating in the Holy Angels Choir.  Vivian was also involved in theater and acted in several plays with the Kalevala Local Theater group.  She liked books, reading, puzzles, musicals, cooking, traveling, Candy Crush, and TV Cooking Shows.  Vivian always loved time with family and friends.  She was involved in the Moose Lake Chamber of Commerce, TOPS, Holy Angels Catholic Church, and the Moose Lake Food Shelf.

Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald S. Radzak in 1987; parents: Arthur and Eva Abrahamson; brother and sister-in-law: Gordon and Fran Abrahamson; and sister and brother-in-law: Betty and David Yepma.

Vivian will be lovingly remembered by her three children: Wanda (Brian) Jensen of Preston, MN; Teri (Terry) Fletcher of Woodbury; and Troy (Lisa) Radzak of Sturgeon Lake; grandchildren: Tom (Carrie) Jensen; Nathan (Brittany) Jensen; Claire Fletcher; Max Radzak; Maddie Radzak; great grandchildren: Sawyer and Quinten Jensen; nieces and nephews and special friends: Cindy, Maxine, Bena, Donna, and Wendy.

A special thank you to the staff at Kenwood – Moose Lake Village, St. Croix Hospice Team, and the Mayo Clinic Physicians for all their care given to Vivian.

A Celebration of Life-Open House will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 11am – 1pm at the Soo Line Event Center, Moose Lake.  Private family burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Croix Hospice.
