Walter Robert Robertson, 82, formerly of Minneapolis and Eau Claire, WI, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in Augustana Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake.  He was born March 2, 1935 in Eau Claire, WI to Robert and Elizabeth (McLoud) Robertson.  Walter was united in marriage to Sandra Stiebler on March 6, 1982 in Minneapolis.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boat rides, 4 wheeling, riding motorcycle and especially spending time with his family.  Walter was known for his unique personality and sense of humor.

Walter is preceded in death by his parents; 2 grandchildren, Karen and Ben; sister, Margaret Rose; 2 brothers, Tony and Dunkin Robertson.

Walter is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Robertson of Sandstone; children, Kathy (Ron) McDonald of Pine City, Mary (Klaas) VanderBent of Baron, WI, Bonnie Robertson of Clayton, WI, Randy Robertson of Somerset, WI, Colleen Robertson of Sandstone, Troy Robertson and Julie Robertson of Albuquerque, NM and Wally Robertson of Hammond, WI; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; brother, Bill Robertson of Milwaukee, WI and Roberta Jelek of CA.
