Wayne Kenneth Meyer, 90, of Duquette passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Moose Lake Village. He was born December 27, 1932 to Lyman and Ella (Koecher) Meyer in Oxford Township, Isanti County.    Wayne grew up and attended school in Kerrick, MN and worked for the Burlington Railroad. He then went to serve his country in the United States Army and returned home to continue working for Burlington Railroad retiring in 1994. He married Marianne Rebrovich on April 23, 1955 in Keewatin, MN. Wayne also owned and operated his own TV repair shop in Duquette. He was a member of the Nemadji Sportsman's Club and the Carlton VFW.  He enjoyed many retirement years with family and his beloved beagles, Barney and Charlie.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Marianne.

He is survived by his children, Catherine (Michael) Weston of St. Paul, Alane (Dale) Staberg of Barnum, John (Karin) Meyer of Duquette, and Christine (Thomas) Maguire of Remsenburg, NY; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1pm until 2 pm Memorial Service on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Hamlin–Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake. Military Honors will follow the services at the funeral home.  Lunch will be served at the Covenant church following Military Honors.
