William "Bill" O. Brusewitz, 77, of Sturgeon Lake, formerly of Woodbury, died Friday, July 18, 2008 in Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake.  Bill was born May 12, 1931 in Minneapolis to Cecil and Hazel (Oberg) Brusewitz.  Bill is a Navy Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict.  Bill was united in marriage to Barbara Haunch on November 23, 1975 in Watertown, SD.  Bill was a shop teacher for 20 years and later an Assistant Principal for 10 years, until retiring in 1987 at Ramsey Jr. High School, St. Paul.  Bill also worked for the Washington County Sheriff's Department during the summer months.  He enjoyed fishing, camping and was an avid grouse hunter for 34 years.  Bill was a loving father and was very family oriented.Bill is preceded in death by his parents.Bill is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Brusewitz of Sturgeon Lake; children, Toni (Robert) McGuire of Montgomery, IL, Steven Brusewitz of Minneapolis, Theresa Cole of Battle Lake, Todd Brusewitz of Big Lake, Vicki (Terry) Sabre of Big Lake, and Gina Apodaca of Phoenix, AZ; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Joan Kaul of Port Orchard, WA; many special friends.    Private Family Services were held.  Arrangements are with Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
