It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yvonne Mae Young, age 88, on July 7, 2026 of Moose Lake, MN. Yvonne was born on October 19, 1937, in Johnston City, IL, to Agenor and Eleanor (Arnsmeyer) Descamp. She married John Young on February 22, 1956, in her hometown of Johnston City, IL. Yvonne found her greatest joy in nurturing her family, raising five cherished children: John (Robin) Young of Moose Lake, Linda (Bob) Utech of Kettle River, Jerry Young of Automba, Jodie (Kelly) Young of Stacy, and Sandy (Ritchie) Sandberg of Moose Lake. Her legacy extends beyond her immediate family, as she is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Yvonne's warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched everyone she encountered. She was a homemaker in every sense of the word, creating a loving environment filled with laughter, wisdom, and kindness. Those who knew her will remember her not just as a devoted mother and grandmother but as a beacon of love and support. Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband; John Young and her parents; Agenor and Eleanor Descamp.

Celebration of life will be held September 19, 2026 in Sandy’s home from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, 4231 North Road, Moose Lake, MN.
